I don't mind Jordy when he's talking about his field of expertise, but when he drifts into others and speaks with such passion, conviction, and authority—well, I kind of feel for him. He doesn't seem aware, despite his obvious intelligence, that he conflates vast heterogenous fields of thinking/study (post-modernism, Marxism, etc.). Perhaps these inchoate theoretical components comprise his "dragon" , that, by virtue of its flimsy composition, he will never slay. I do like Jung and Dostoevsky though so there's that
