Well said, Alvin. I haven't that much experience on Medium, but I distinctly remember, even as short a time as four years ago, better quality articles were being recommend to me.

I really think Medium should do something about the current feedback loop; something that would recommend the platform to non-medium writers. Some kind of quality control? Technical tinkering? I don't know, but something definitely needs to change.
