The Best PC Games Only Millennials Will Understand
Remember the good ol’ days?
We Millennials are somewhat unique in that our adolescence coincided with the dawn of the digital age. After a childhood spent making dens and playing outside, rapidly developing technology gradually sunk its feelers in, until, before we realized it, we were completely hooked up to the mainframe.
For our generation, gaming was not some nerdy, niche pastime; gaming was (and is) inextricable from our personal and social development. And for those who presume it is a braindead waste of time, studies suggest that gaming actually improves cognitive development. Well, obviously. Have you any idea how long it takes to sort through, trade, and sell items in your inventory? Can you fathom the reflexes required to target a tiny blur of pixels from range? Are you versed in how to effectively divide up your forces to simultaneously defend your base and attack the enemies?
I rest my case.
This may ruffle some feathers. After all, not only will this be (like most lists of this nature) unavoidably subjective, but it’s not like Gen Xers or Zoomers won’t have enjoyed some of the titles below. So take it with a pinch of salt, get ready for a hit of nostalgia, and enjoy the Top 5 PC Games for Millennials.
