I have had two pieces published in Better Humans and, before the first one was published, I naively thought it would equate to a 'big break' of sorts. Of course this wasn't the case, and the piece has flat-lined at around 55 reads.

It seems many of the articles that tend to do well are actually about Medium itself, along with how to become more "successful"....which is a shame for me. Personally, I would not want to get pigeonholed like that, regardless of ostensible success. It's just a shame I make considerably more copywriting than I do writing creatively on this platform. But it's early days yet, and I write for writings' sake, so I can't complain!
