Thank you for this even-handed analysis of the situation. Given the way it’s presented in the media, there is a tendency to see things in a binary way. Whether that’s the West supplying arms that kill children in Yemen, dropping drone bombs in Pakistan, or waging illegal wars, or whether it’s Russia doing pretty much the same things, the victims of war are always everyday people of all colours and creeds; victims of the chess game played since time immemorial.
