Great article, Stephen, and I couldn't agree more. A serious mental health condition put any prospects of a career on hold for me. It's only in the two years that I've started building one as a digital marketer and writer.

I only started writing properly on Medium in November and even found myself getting a little bitter and impatient. But I've been making steady, observable progress, and am settling comfortably into the long game!

I believe true success is measured by the quality of relationships we build, as well as the wisdom we lift others up with.
