Anti-vaxxer Conspiracy Theorists Could Be Suffering From Nuance
What exactly is this dangerous pathology?
Many anti-vaxxer conspiracy theorists and alt-right transphobes have claimed there is a lack of nuance in modern society. They also accuse the mainstream press of using inflammatory ‘buzzwords’, suggesting such terms are reductive, dehumanizing, and mainly used incorrectly.
Doctor Shill, who presides over a government think tank for public relations, says such claims are indicative of a deeper issue:
“Many of these people don’t realise they are suffering from a disease. By suggesting we need a more nuanced approach to complex issues, it’s obvious they are not in their right minds. Unwittingly, they have set themselves up as enemies of freedom, and should be dealt with accordingly.”
When we met with anti-vaxxer (former virologist) Edward Frost, it appeared he was showing signs of early-onset nuance. This is what he told us:
“While I’m a staunch advocate of vaccination in general, after reviewing the available data I’m not entirely convinced of the effectiveness of the current gene therapy.”
